Josh has over 20+ years of large-scale residential, commercial/retail, and industrial land development experience having held senior and executive roles at the City of Calgary and private development organizations.  Josh holds an BA in Regional & Urban Development from the University of Saskatchewan, an Executive MBA from Queen’s University and is a CPA.​

Our Engineering & Construction Management Team has 35+ years of urban development experience specifically in engineering design and construction/project management of residential, commercial and industrial subdivisions including sanitary sewer, storm sewer, waterworks systems and roadways. GDS strives to produce sustainable and cost effective projects that benefit landowners, municipalities and residents of our communities. 

Our finance and accounting team have 15+ years of progressive experience in finance, project accounting, real estate, sourcing and managing debt as well as equity capital and banking. We've worked with multinational groups concentrating on acquiring, managing and monetizing strategically located lands in major North American growth corridors, investments and real estate assets. 

Our marketing team has over 20+ years of community marketing and sales experience, and has delivered over a dozen communities across the greater Calgary and Edmonton regional marketplace.  Our progressive sales approach leverages digital marketing strategies to elevate our clients exposure to showcase projects in a superior manner, setting the bar in the development industry.
